Krzysztof “Kris” Głuch – a Silesian jazz and blues pianist, renowned session musician, composer, arranger, producer, and initiator.
Throughout his nearly fifty-year artistic career, he has recorded dozens of albums and collaborated with numerous prominent artists, including Martyna Jakubowicz, Włodzimierz Kiniorski, Ireneusz Dudek, Henryk Gembalski, Roman “Pazur” Wojciechowski, and the band Dżem.
As part of the Young Power project, co-created with Krzysztof Popek, he also worked with Tomasz Stańko and Michał Urbaniak.

He has performed both in Poland and abroad — in the United States, Russia, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Africa.
Between 1997 and 2003, he co-founded the band Cree, with which he recorded two albums.

Since 2004, he has led the group Ości, which gradually evolved into his original project Krzysztof Głuch Oscillate. The band made its recording debut with the “Live” album, released in 2013, which was highly acclaimed by both critics and audiences.

Over time, Głuch was recognized by readers of the magazine Twój Blues and voted Pianist of the Year in 2014 and again in 2016.
In 2015, he received a nomination for the prestigious Janosha Award.

Agnieszka Łapka – vocalist, lyricist, painter, and creator of graphics, posters, and album covers. Born in Tychy, she graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.

In 2004, she debuted in the avant-garde music project “Ości”, founded by the Silesian pianist and composer Krzysztof Głuch.

In 2007, she joined the Silesian Blues Group, founded by Polish blues legends Jan “Kyks” Skrzek and Leszek Winder, with whom she recorded and performed. After Jan Skrzek’s passing in 2015, Agnieszka became the band’s lead vocalist.

In 2010, as part of the trio Łapka–Rzepa–Głuch, she recorded and released the album “Januaries”, which received positive reviews and premiered on Amazon. In 2013, she released an EP as Łapka, featuring five original songs in both Polish and English.

In the same year, the live album by Krzysztof Głuch Oscillate was released, with Agnieszka as the band’s vocalist and lyricist. In 2016, the band released a double studio album with original material and performed numerous concerts with special guests, including Jerzy Piotrowski, Józef Skrzek, Anthimos Apostolis, Jorgos Skolias, Bronisław Duży, and Henryk Gembalski. The recording featured Agnieszka Łapka, Krzysztof Głuch, Arek Skolik, Andrzej Rusek, and Krzysztof Głuch Jr.

In 2020, she released her solo album “Zwierzopiór”, with lyrics in Polish, which received excellent reviews, including in the weekly magazine Polityka by Wojciech Mann, and in Teraz Rock magazine by Marek Świrkowicz, where an article about the release was also published.

In 2022, she was named Vocalist of the Year in the annual poll of Twój Blues magazine, and in 2023, the Silesian Blues Group, with Agnieszka as lead vocalist, was nominated for the Fryderyk Award for the album “Tu i Teraz”. She also received the Tychy City President’s Award in Culture in 2024.

  • Krzysztof Głuch Jr – guitarist, has been connected to music from an early age, growing up within the Silesian musical bohemia. His musical journey began with home sessions playing alongside his father, a pianist, which gradually evolved into a professional music career.

He participated in numerous workshops, developing his skills under the guidance of, among others, Mirosław Rzepa, Marek Raduli, Zbigniew Jakubek, and Damian Kurasz. In 2013, he made his recording debut with the live album “Live” with the band Oscillate, featuring legends of the Polish music scene.

He is fascinated by all kinds of music, but his main inspirations are funk, soul, jazz, blues, and rock. He has collaborated with artists such as Antoni Gralak, Józef Skrzek, Anthimos Apostolis, Funk da System, Paprodziad (Łąki Łan), and Marek Pędziwiatr.

Currently, he co-creates the bands Krzysztof Głuch Oscillate and Coffee Experiment, as well as an award-winning duo with Natalia Skorupka, recognized at numerous festivals.
Achievements:

  • 1st place at the 23rd National Festival of Artistic Song in Rybnik (with Natalia Skorupka, 2019)
  • 1st place at the 11th Festival of Artistic Song “Poetic Valley” in Warsaw (with Natalia Skorupka, 2019)
  •  Finalist at the 40th Review of Acting Song (with Natalia Skorupka, 2019)
  •  2nd place at the 56th Student Song Festival in Kraków (with Coffee Experiment, 2020)

  • Maciej Kitajewski – double bassist and bass guitarist. He graduated from the Jazz Department at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he also taught from 2022 to 2024.

In 2021, he won the “Jazzowy Debiut Fonograficzny” (Jazz Recording Debut) program organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance, which led to his album Maciej Kitajewski Trio – “Longing Miniatures” being nominated for the Fryderyk 2022 award for Jazz Debut of the Year.

Przemek Borowiecki – drummer, born in 1979. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Katowice, Faculty V – Jazz and Popular Music.
